Call to order. Noting a quorum present,
Jim Roche called the meeting to order at
7:00PM.
MC/RC Approve the minutes of the October 6th 7-0-0
meeting.
Brett Feldman had not arrived yet to vote.
MC/RC Motion to transfer $6,400 from Free Cash 7-0-0
to Elections for the Special Election.
Elections Salary $6,000
Elections Expenses 400
Brett Feldman had not arrived yet to vote.
MC/PM Motion to transfer $30,000 from Free Cash to 7-0-0
the Veterans Assistance.
This is due to an increase in case loads.
Brett Feldman had not arrived yet to vote.
MC/PM Motion to transfer $175,000 from Free Cash to 8-0-0
Employee Benefits to cover unemployment funds
those are almost depleted.
Brett Feldman has arrived and is now voting.
Old Business: None
New Business: Jim Dacey noted that as of October there were
still 800 homeowners that have not paid their
water, sewer and trash bill. Any bills not paid
start to accrue interest and banks and mortgage
companies will not pay the accrued interest.
Tax takings are less this than last year.
100 homeowners have not paid their tax bills.
If not paid liens will be recorded at the Registry of
Deeds in March. Call Treasurers office to get bills
paid off.
MC/PG Motion was made to appoint Rebecca Cameron as 8-0-0
Vice Chairperson of the Finance Committee.
This was caused by the vacancy of Tina Powderly
who was elected to the Town Council.
